Waffle House is an American restaurant chain headquartered in Gwinnett County, Georgia. In this article, we are going to be looking at what it takes to get a job at Waffle House.

Company History -
Waffle House was founded by Joe Rogers Sr. and Tom Forkner in the year 1955. The first Waffle House was opened at 2719 East College Avenue in Avondale Estates in Georgia. Joe Rogers began his career in the restaurant business as a short-order cook in the year 1947 and by the year 1949, had become a regional manager at Toddle House in New Haven, Connecticut. Rogers’ idea was to merge the speed of fast food with table service and round the clock availability. He met Tom Forkner when buying a house  from him in Avondale Estates. After opening four restaurants by the year 1960, they began franchising their restaurants. By late 1960s, the chain grew to 27 restaurants. Today, it is a chain with over 1700 locations found in 25 states in the US.
