Company History –
Caesars Entertainment’s history can be traced back to Harrah’s Entertainment in the year 1937. It was initially a small bingo parlor in Reno, Nevada. It was operated by William F. Harrah. In the year 1971, the company went public with 450,000 shares. In the year 1980, Harrah’s Inc. was acquired by Holiday Inn, which in turn was acquired by Bass PLC in the year 1990. Accounting clerk: As an accounting clerk, your job is to enter statistical information into the computer system. You will generate various accounting reports and summarize, calculate, and record numbers on various documents. You will process payroll and accounts payable as applicable. You will review, reconcile and verify documents for proper completion. You will perform W2G preparation, input and balancing. For this position, you require a high school diploma or equivalent along with six months of previous accounting and audit experience.
You must be able to operate a computer keyboard and perform ten-key operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
Bell Person: As a bell person, your job is to greet each guest with enthusiasm upon their arrival. You will transport guests’ luggage to their rooms after registration process is completed. You will pick up guests’ luggage upon departure and transport to the vehicle. You will assist guests with room changes and maintain room key security. You will complete required room slip information and submit and forward it to the appropriate personnel. For this position, you require a high school diploma or equivalent along with prior experience as a bell person/doorman. You will be lifting heavy luggage repeatedly, lifting weights of up to 100 pounds.
Cook: As a cook, you will prepare and produce items on the menu to the standards in a quick and efficient manner. You must be able to prepare items such as, but not limited to, salads, appetizers, Mexican, Italian, American dishes, etc. You will prepare, cook and season all food. You must show skills in fry cook, broiler as well as Garde Manger. For this position, you must be able to operate kitchen equipments such as grills, stoves, fryers, broilers and other utensils. You must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. You must possess dexterity to use kitchen equipments such as knives, spatulas, tongs, etc. In some locations, you might require two years of experience in high volume food service to be able to get this job.
Fine Dining host: As a fine dining host, your duty is to welcome all guests using first/last name as appropriate. You will seat guests upon arrival and provide essential information regarding the outlet. You will possess knowledge of all menu offerings including all specials and promotions. You will sincerely thank all guests and bid them a warm farewell upon departure from the outlet. For this position, you will require a high school diploma or equivalent. You must have previous cash handling experience. You must appear neat and clean at all times. You must have good communication skills. Also, you must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
Dealer-Entertainer: As a dealer/entertainer, your duty is to conduct assigned game(s) according to established procedures. You will focus on attracting customers by creating and maintaining an exciting “party” atmosphere. You will greet every guest with a smile. You will exchange cash for gaming chips according to established procedures, and cooperate with other dealers when assigned to the same game. You will require prior public entertainer, acting, dancing, modeling or beverage serving experience for this position. A certificate of completion from an accredited Dealers School or equivalent is preferred though not compulsory. You must have prior card dealing experience. You must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays. You be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time in 2” heels.
