Busch Gardens are two amusement parks that are owned and run by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment. One of the parks is located in Williamsburg, Virginia and the other one is located in Tampa, Florida. We’ll take a look at employment opportunities offered by Busch Gardens in the following lines.
Company History –
Busch Gardens initially served as marketing vehicles for Anheuser-Busch with samples of Anheuser-Busch products. They also had stables with many of the Clydesdale horses which have been synonymous with Anheuser-Busch since 1933. Busch Gardens – Tampa, FL:
Food Service Attendant: As a food service attendant, you will be responsible for processing food orders and handling cash and ring sales. You will also be required to clean, wipe down tables and chairs and perform general housekeeping tasks. For this job, you must have good cash handling skills. You will be required to lift, push or pull weights of up to 30 lbs. You must be able to stand, walk or sit for long periods of time and work in rainy and cold weather conditions as well. Most importantly, you must be able to pass food safety certification test in order to maintain employment in Culinary Operations.
Game Host/Hostess: As a game host/hostess, your responsibility is to prepare, promote and operate games. You will speak on microphone and you will be handling large amounts of cash. You will be required to Clean, sweep, wipe counters and game fixtures, mop, scrub, and remove trash. For this position, you must be able to lift and stock up to 40 lbs of weights. You will be working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Tram Driver/Operator: As a tram driver, your responsibility is to shuttle guests from one area of the park to another. Guests with wheelchairs or strollers will be assisted by you on/off the tram. You’ll be providing valet service. You will maintain cleanliness of tram, tram stop, pet kennel and storage areas. For this job, you must be at least 18 years old and must have a valid Florida “B” CDL driver’s license with passenger and airbrake endorsements(for Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL). You must have proof of insurance as well.
Park Ops Host/Hostess: As a park ops Host/Hostess, your responsibility is to greet guests. You will be required to clean the park and maintain cleanliness. You will be responsible for maintaining guest safety at ride locations and ensure that height restrictions, platform duties and control panel are being followed. You will be required to clean and dry sinks, mirrors, counters, floors and toilets. This job entails lifting of up to 50 lbs. You must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Guest relations Host/Hostess: For this position, you will be required to fill group sales orders, process season passes, handle guest concerns and maintain cleanliness in the work area. Register and guest service experience is preferred for this position.

This will open up a new page of SeaWorld Careers. Now, click on ‘Current Openings’ link on the second box to the left side of the page, under ‘Part Time/Seasonal.’ This will display locations of parks in the center of the page. Click on Tampa, FL(As you can see, it has Busch Gardens stated underneath it). This will show you all available positions with their job title, park name and type of job. There you should see all Garden Busch jobs with ‘Garden Busch’ under the Park column. Click on a job that you wish to apply for. This will open the page listing job description and requirements. At the bottom of the page you will find the ‘Apply Now’ button. Before clicking on it, click on the check box saying that you have read and understand the duties and responsibilities as outlined in job description. This will begin the application process. Click ‘Begin’ and take the time to carefully read everything. You’ll see in the acknowledgement part that one of the points says “My employment is contingent upon passing a substance test (drug test), background check, employment of relatives and conflict of interests review.” This information is not provided on the description page itself.
